United Methodist Men's Club

Chartered in 1954, the East Marion United Methodist Men’s Club is open to all people of the Church, members and visitors alike. UMM meet on the third Sunday of the month in the Fellowship Hall at 7:15am. This is a time of informal fellowship, project planning and a hearty breakfast. Some of the UMM projects include: church and parsonage maintenance and renovations, Community Heating Assistance, and the Annual Yard Sale. If there is a need in the community the UMM will strive to render assistance, from helping with utility bills to building ramps for the disabled.

“For me, Men’s Breakfast has become less of a meeting and more of a family gathering around the table. Sure we discuss “business” but mostly we just share our lives and interests with each other. Discussions in the kitchen are on a wide range of subjects including Ham Radio, Little League, computers, fishing, running moonshine, The Andy Griffith Show, Corvettes and personal faith. You know, guy stuff. Please consider joining us at the table.”

"The Men’s Club is an informal gathering. The men of the church offer themselves and their gifts to the glory of Christ’s love, through charitable projects in the church and community. P.S. The breakfasts are wonderful!!!"

Frank C., Church Member

"We’ve found that if you eat it in the church, it can’t hurt you. Bring on the pork!"

Wayne F., Church Member
